Moonlight Magic Question

We are traveling with the Grandparents during our next trip. I have been trying to snag a Animal Kingdom Moonlight magic cancellation. Question - we are not staying on our points, rather points that were rented from David's. There are 8 in our party (3 separate studios) If we got in, how many guests can we bring with us? Are we limited to the number of guests in our room? Will they know that we are staying on property (reservation is linked to my SO's MDE login our DVC has a different login)

Update - After multiple attempts, we got in this morning. I only entered a party of 4 (the number on our reservation).
