Moonlight Magic - Odds of Tix Left for Non-Resort Stay?

Hi there -

We have a trip planned with a large group of friends in July - it's primarily a non-Disney trip so we weren't planning much (except hoping for an after-hours...)

However - just saw there is a Moonlight Magic for AK during our trip.

I see resort guests get a week in advance to book - we won't be eligible - what are the odds we can still get in? Do they usually fill up with resort guests or if I jump on it might I get lucky?

They do save some tickets for non-resort stays. But your larger issue is that you are limited to booking 4 total tickets if you get through the queue.

I tried this for HS event tomorrow night. They do a random numbered queue for everyone that logs in before opening time. I was number 2145. They barely made it past number 200 before it was full. So obviously resort guests get the majority of the spots.
