Moonlight Magic at the MK next year?

So they did this event two years in a row (well last year was the anniversary thing but it was a similar vent)... anyone have any speculation about whether they might do this again next year? We will be there during the corresponding Friday next year. I know no guarantees but it's fun to speculate and hear people's reasons why. Especially with having both Poly and Copper Creek for sale at such high prices, do you think they really need to keep hammering home the perks of buying direct and these events are likely to continue?

Also does anyone know when this year's event was announced? Again i know with Disney patterns don't always hold true but it's nice info to have

Yes, I suspect they will continue. These theme park exclusives are expensive, but great marketing tools. They've spent significant dollars in the past on things like referral programs, weekly member meetings and the holiday Member Mixers. Those have all been discontinued. Heck they used to have mall-based sales centers in Chicago and Long Island which operated 7 days/week.

As for dates, I won't even bother to speculate. Could be exactly the same. Could be entirely different. Seems like DVC should want to rotate the dates to some degree. They won't get exclusive access to parks during peak periods like Christmas and Spring Break, but there are other times throughout the year when these events could occur.

me too. I timed my vacation around other things (mainly my son's vacation, which is the week AFTER everyone else's is) which, if the schedule is the same as this year, would allow me to do BOTH of these events. Not sure they will let you book two or just one? so even if they shift it by a week one way or the other I may be able to catch one.
