DISNEY FILES ‘TRIP TIPS’ FOR MOONLIGHT MAGIC

We’re excited to see you at the upcoming Disney Vacation Club® Moonlight Magic event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park! Always eager to share “trip tips,” the Disney Files staff is here to help you get the most out of your after-hours evening celebrating the magic of nature. Don’t forget your Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card. Both your valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at check-in. (Your Digital Membership Card should be added to the digital wallet of your mobile device before arrival, as using the temporary card will not expedite your check-in process. Visit www.disneyvacationclub.com/card if you need help.) It’s important to note that the Member who was selected during the event registration process must be in attendance to check in their full party, and that entire party must check in together. The event is un able to accommodate parties that did not register in advance. Entry prior to the event mix-in time requires a separate paid theme park admission and park reservation. You can check into the event a bit early. While the event runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., you’re welcome to experience more magic by checking in at 4 p.m. And, if you happen to be enjoying Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park earlier that day and would like to check in inside the park, you may do so from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Up Country Landing Dock (look for event signage). Park freely! Beginning at 4 p.m., parking will be available at no charge for those attending Moonlight Magic. The parking tram will not be in operation, so please park in any available spaces that may provide convenient access to the park’s Main Entrance. Let us treat you! Upon arrival, each person in your party will receive three snack coupons. You may redeem these coupons during the mix-in period and throughout the event at a variety of food and beverage locations. You’ll also find several locations offering frozen treats starting at 7 p.m.Please note that these coupons cannot be redeemed at merchandise locations. Dress comfortably. We recommend packing extra layers for this occasion, as Florida weather can fluctuate quickly. Post like a pro. Don’t forget to share your Moonlight Magic memories with friends and family on social media using #DVCMember and #ThatMagicalFeeling for a chance to be featured! Have fun! There’s plenty to experience as you explore the pathways surrounding the Tree of Life! In addition to enjoying some of your favorite attractions with shorter-than-usual wait times, be on the lookout for special entertainment, including appearances by Disney Characters you don’t often have a chance to meet. Safe travels. For those who arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park by Walt Disney World bus, this service will continue operating until 11 p.m.

Yes, that's it. I didn't notice it in the notice that was sent, or I would have stayed until the end. I first became aware of it in the survey.

Is there a rule that if you get moonlight magic at a certain park you can’t get it again at that same park in the same year? Or is it all luck of the draw for all moonlight magics?

Yes.

Normal rule is MM at each park once per year. In 2024 they made an exception for the three added days at Animal Kingdom (Oct, Nov & Dec dates).

MM seems to be luck of the draw by design.
