Moonlight Magic 2020

I'm schedule to go in the fall with a MM date, but I noticing more cancellations at the DVC resorts this week for my travel date. Do you think MM will ever happen this year? I'm glad I'm in the position to cancel everything by August without any out of pocket, but it makes you wonder if they keep them open with the lost revenues piling up. For those who decided to cancel, thanks for letting me upgrade my original reservation.

If and when the parks reopen, I personally do not think Moonlight Magics will still happen this year, simply to reduce health risk (and cost). No one knows what will happen though.

I saw they now delayed registration for typhoon lagoon. I suspect there will not be any further events this year. I was booked for mk and Epcot which both got canceled

I don't recall where or when I saw it, but I did see something that said all MM for 2020 were being cancelled. I wouldn't count on it.

Yeah, I have a feeling it's not happening. I'm still holding hope. Luckily, I booked a December 2020 trip if the Sept trip for MM doesn't happen. And still lucky to cancel Dec (if I need to for COVID winter edition) in the fall to bank my 2020 points. It's crazy to add this new element of knowing how to cancel before the trip as part of trip planning.

Originally June was MM registration for Typhoon Lagoon in August - the registration has been postponed but the event has not yet been cancelled. We have a trip planned August specifically for the MM at TL. Sad it may be lost We've never been to a MM event (new DVC owners). Bought into RIV Feb, and COVID hit March

I know the feeling! Our April trip was cancelled (it was going to be our first Magic Kingdom Moonlight Magic), and we're supposed to be at Disney in late July over the Typhoon Lagoon Moonlight Magic...hope we get to go to both Disney AND the MM event! Hope we both get to go!

That is not correct. The June 29 event at Epcot and others for the remainder of the year are still on the schedule. Whether or not they happen is obviously open to debate. But additional cancellations is purely rumor / speculation at this point.

Anyone have any thoughts as to odds that more tickets will come available for the June 29 Epcot MM?

Personally, given all that is going on, and the parks (hopefully) just starting to open, I would be surprised to see any of them occur this year.
I can't imagine the June 29th event happening. Maybe one later in the year, but I still doubt it.
