Monty! We had burgers cooked on the grill the other night. Your buddy Max got one that fell on the coals (lava rocks, actually). He enjoyed it very, very much.

So we have a Monty-dog, a Maxi-dog and now a Maddy-dog here on the DIS. I see a pattern.

yep! she sure is. we have had her for a year and four months when we got her she could curl up in a ball in our hands thats how small she was! now she is bigger, more hyper, and has a big attitude she gets that from me i think!!

Monty you should come play at our house -- I've got two labs and a newfoundland in my backyard playing today. We are FUN neighbors. Two doggies are in the pool -- not Velcro Dog, he is a wimp!

I wanna post a pic of Petey dog! How do I do it?? He too has a way of sitting, staring and whimpering that gets him nibbles from my plate when I SWORE I'd NEVER feed him people food! It says "SUCKER" right there on my forehead!

Don't tell Thumper this but Monty would be really scared of him. Most Jack Russells were bred to hunt, but Monty cowers in terror in the presence of little animals. Bunnies particularly scare him.
He's had to resort to philosophy since he can't hunt.

When Monty was 4 months old, he was nipped on the nose by our (now deceased) pet lab rat. Well, that was it. Small mammals have horrified him ever since.

We were in a pet store once and there was a bunny in a cage and Monty decided to get brave and slowly approach the cage. Well he got a few inches away from peeking in and the bunny loudly thumped his foot and Monty ran and hid behind me.

He's soooo brave.
