Monty Dog's Thought for 8/11/04

Monty Dog Says :

"There is nothing wrong with occasionally pampering oneself with a professional manicure... It's not only very relaxing, but also helps keep up good personal hygiene, which is very important. Well at least that is what the groomer tells me... "

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That's cute!
Did I ever tell you...Jazzy's claws were getting SO LONG and I kept asking DH to trim them (she sits VERY still for him and he does a good job) but he kept putting it off and putting it off.

I told him if he puts it off one more night I was going to paint her claws bright pink.

well he did...so I did.

I had some quick dry HOT PINK nailpolish and painted 2 or 3 claws on her 2 front paws...heheheh...came out so cute!

the next day he finally clipped the claws!

(and thanks for putting the date 8/11 in your post...just realized my dad's birthday is in one month...9/11 and I need to find him a decent gift!)

HAHAHAHAHAHA thats so funny. I tried to trim my dogs nails but she just wouldnt sit still for it, but I have a place right across the street that you can just walk in and for $8 they will do them then and there.

BTW....just LOVE Monty's posts...he is so adorable.

Thanks all! Monty usually gets his nails trimmed at Petsmart. I think they charge about $8 too. I don't know why he sits still and behaves for the groomers and not for me!

Stinkerbelle - That is so cute about your dog's pink toenails. I take it your husband didn't like the pink nails?? Hmph! Men have no sense of fashion!

Both of our doggies sit still for my DH. He clips them both.

The lab gets a little antsy on the back feet, but he does a good job.

The poodle gets done when he goes to the groomers.

So cute, what a good boy....Mine won't sit still for nail clipping, so we put it off till they are really long..

We never trim Max's nails. As long as we keep up with walking him twice a day, his nails don't seem to get too long.

You're so lucky! Monty's nails grow like weeds. We trim them, and no matter what, they grow back within a week or two. And they get really sharp... Maybe he was a cat in another life?
