Just an FYI for those going through Montreal to Orlando. We went through last Friday and it was a breeze compared to the last time we did Toronto (May 07).. only took about 5 minutes to see a customs officer after getting in line, since they have a nice connecting passengers line that bypasses the rest of the customs traffic. We landed at about 7:30am and were waiting at our US gate at just after 8. We had to walk to the other end of the terminal with our toddler, but our bags were waiting for us when we got to the customs area.
We'll definitely be going through Montreal the next time if possible!

I agree 100% with you- I've always found flying through Montreal MUCH more pleasant and quicker than flying through Toronto. Plus, I like the airport better-- big, but not TOO big, and with lots of amenities.

We try to avoid TO as much as possible. Montreal or Boston are our 'hopping points' of choice. I find that Montreal is such a nicely organized airport that it feels like you never need to look as signs. It just seems to flow properly and logically.
