It depends on your hunger factor and your ability to handle greasy foods. I was able to eat a whole one myself but I did not order any appetizers and it was my first thing to eat in 8hrs...

I share the Monte Cristo and a salad with my DM; and we're usually stuffed by the end of our meal.

It's generous but sized for one. That said, your pancreas and liver will beg you share it w/ someone else. Please, think of your organs.

My DH can eat a whole one. I can't. If you really wanna clog your arteries, order fries with that at Cafe Orleans. Actually the fries taste even better than the sandwich.

I couldn't even eat 1/4 of it!! That is saying a lot, because I am pooh sized, and should have been able to eat more than that. I would never try one again, personally for me it was too rich, but I think everyone should try it at least once! I know lots of people LOVE it, so you should try it, but I would split it with my partner for sure. You can always go grab a churro after if you're still hungry.

For us it was enough for 4, but one of them was a 2 year old at a time. That thing is a monster. I had the onion soup too. So good, better than the monte cristo!

I REALLY wanted to try one. (A month ago when I went for my first trip.) So I walked up, got a seat and sat down and received menu. Then I saw the price.

WOW. That's quite a bit of cash for a sandwich. I thanked the server and I was off.

I walked off and bought a new shirt with the money.

Well I can eat a whole one, but as has been said they're quite a bit of sandwich. It's actually 2 sandwiches deep fried and delicious, but I never get full and was more than full after eating 3/4 of mine.

My daughter and I usually share one after constantly leaving there with a to-go when we were done. We always get the pommes frites to go with it, too. I love them, but oh how my tummy hurts later!

We have 2 adults and 2 kids who are really good eaters (ages 10 and 12). We always just order two and share, because after we get the pommes frites, and still want to eat the begniets afterward...that's just plenty for us.

On our upcoming trip we have debated ordering two orders of pommes frites and just one sandwich to split between the four of us. I actually think that would be fine.

I have never been able to eat an entire Monte Cristo myself, and I get one every time I go to Disneyland. I think it could easily be shared, maybe get the fries too (SOOO good!). Personally, I prefer the three cheese Monte Cristo. Oh gosh, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

It is VERY RICH, I can never finish one myself. We usually order 2-3 things and split everything.

I want to try it once at Blue Bayou just to say I tried it. I can see DH will be eating my leftovers. That is a lot of sandwich!

I don't know if they are big enough for two, it depends on how much you eat, but they are yummy. We had one at a restaurant in Adventureland a few years ago. Before that I used to get them all the time at the Cafeteria when I worked for Disneyworld way back when.
