Monte Cristo question for either Cafe Orleans or Smokejumpers...

I have two picky eaters in my family who can not stand turkey. Is it possible to order a Monte Cristo sandwich at either Cafe Orleans or Smokejumpers with ham only and no turkey?

If they can't and if it's something that is pre-made, is this something that I can call ahead of time and request for our Cafe Orleans reservation?

No idea. But honestly the monte cristo has so much going on, they may not notice the turkey. Tell them it’s pale ham. Lol

Super picky adult here. My wife loves the monte cristo I’m also not a fan of turkey. I would usually order the cheese one, but I learned that I just really don’t like Brie and it was a deal breaker for me. I ended up just eating the monte cristo and taking the turkey out. Like the poster above me said, there is a lot going on in the sandwich, they will barely notice a hint of turkey and it won’t be enough to detract from the awesomeness of the rest of it.

I’m not going to say they won’t taste it, because as a picky eater that is never the case. They will know turkey was there but it’ll be faint and ignorable and the sandwich will still be enjoyable. And that is coming from a guy who hates when restaurants serve chicken tenders on lettuce because the lettuce flavor overpowers the chicken.
