Anyone have any information about the new monsters inc ride coming to DCA?

Last I heard, that was pretty "iffy". What I understand is coming is Tower of Terror, and a Bugs Life kids area. The announcement was supposed to be this past week, but they postponed. They have actually broken ground for the expansion though, and an announcement is very close. They are also doing a lagoon show in DCA for the holidays, and will soon officially announce the Pooh ride too.

I think Monster inc. got lost in the shuffle.

The press event for Disneyland has been postponed till December. Meaning it will be a bit longer till we find out about the new shows and attractions.

Luminaria, the Christmas Night time shwo, looks to be official and will open around Thanksgiving.

Tower of Terror may be pushed back due to the recent tragedy in America.

The Pooh attraction will more and likely be official in December but won't open till 2003.

I heard that the Monsters Inc. ride will be postponed. They will have a Monsters Inc. theme with the Halloween Parties at WDW and DL though.

The ride is supposed to be centered around a Fun House theme. Once inside you’ll be transported to a unique world, which will have the feel of the Monsters home in the film. It's also rumored to feature an inverted style dark ride system, similar to Peter Pan and the new 20K Leagues Under the Sea at Tokyo-DisneySea. If they use 20K Leagues's ride system, the ride cars would consist of monorail vehicles supported by an overhead beam.

This idea has been tossed back and fourth from a PIXAR Place land to Paradise Pier area and back. It may or may not be built.
