Monsters Inc/ Nightmare Before Christmas

Hi again,
Has anyone other than me noticed that one or more of the monstersin Monsters Inc. looked very similar to monsters from the Nightmare Before Christmas?

I am particulary thinking of the blue, long armed monster on Disc 2 in the "Company Play" sequence that gets hit by his friend sitting next to him for crying.

Also Ros (Roz) has some similar facial structures to the monster mom in Nightmare Before Christmas...the glasses, hair.

So what do you think?
Just thought I'd ask.
