I love this show....I like when Disney attractions make Guests part of the show.

It is fun. My 4-yr old was more scared of this than BTMRR though because last year they put her up on the big screen as she says. I had to drag her in crying. Lol

I agree! I always want DH to be "that guy". So far no luck.. My DD and DS have had thier jokes read a couple of times though.

Our first time attending in 2008, DH was "That Guy" and we've been several times since. We've noticed that the area "That Guy" sits in always tends to be the same -- about 4-5 rows back, near the aisle on the center but in the right hand section of seats, those closest to the entry doors.

We like how the show changes based on guest interaction so it's never the same.

Plus, bonus, they give you a "I was THAT guy" sticker with Mike Wysowski on it as you leave.

A friend of mine was "that guy" twice in one trip :lmao:

My favorite attraction at Magic Kingdom :thumbsup2

I adore the Laugh Floor! In October we had a double whammy. Before the show began they put my aunt on the screen with a caption reading "Has no idea where she is" -- my aunt is a doctor (MD and holds a PhD in Molecular Biology, which is the career path she pursued and is now one of the world's most recognized scientists) but we call her "Dr. Space" because sometimes the common sense factor just isn't there. The person doing the captions couldn't have put a better one on the screen if s/he tried. My DD was then chosen as Boo and couldn't grasp the concept of peek-a-boo because she was mesmerized by being on the screen. So, instead of playing peek-a-boo she pulled her lower eyelids down and made a face that would make a horror movie director proud. :rotfl:

We love it too.

The first time DH and I went there together he was 'that guy' and on our boy's first trip last year they were chosen too!!! Luckily I haven't been (I'm surprisingly shy with stuff like that, but not particularly shy any other time!!):confused3

I was lucky enough to be "That Guy" once. Still keep my sticker on the bedroom mirror.

What I have learned about getting on screen for this show. If you're wearing a hat, take it off. Especially if it could even remotely be questionable in nature or heaven forbid have another theme park logo on it.

We have seen this show probably 25-30 times and "That Guy" is just as the previous poster said, always stage left about 3-5 rows back from center aisle towards the entrance doors.

We did it once and wasn't impressed. We haven't wasted time in it since then. But I can see why other people like it.

Personally, I no longer understand what TomorrowLand's theme is supposed to be.

The Laugh Floor is a must for me! Unfortunately, I have yet to be part of the show, sad face. Always hoping it will eventually happen. ;)

I like the Laugh Floor but the past several years the jokes haven't changed. Show is always 99% the same. Would love it if they changed it up every few months.

Can anyone who has seen the show lately tell me if they still do a Monsters U part of the show? When we were there last summer we saw it three times, and two of the times they removed some of the usual show segments to put in some (lame) Monsters U bits. I'm hoping they're back to the old show.

First time at the show I was "That Guy", it so caught me off guard :thumbsup2. Love this show!'!!
