I may have missed a post, but I have not seen anybody mention the Monsters Inc characters at DCA. We just happened to run into them. They have a little show next to the entrance of Tough to be a bug, and when the show is over, the CM goes over to the right and tells people to line up for pictures. When people are lined up, the CM's go to the end of the line, and put up orange cones, and they won't let anybody else in the line. Therefore, if you want a picture with Sully and his friend, hope that's their names, make sure you watch the end of their show and line up ASAP.
Note, the Monsters Inc characters do NOT sign autographs, but they pose with your kids for pictures if you get in line quickly enough.
I thought this was a good way of doing it, instead of having kids stand in line for a long time and be told they could not get a picture. This way you are told right away where the cutoff point is.
The characters ride to the area where they hold their show on a little tram, and when the show is over, they ride awayyyyyy. There is not a permanent structure for them there.
