VENTING: My friend received the Monster Pin on a postcard in the mail. She does not go to Disney and could CARE LESS about it. She offered the post card TO ME!!!! Obvisously since this is a pin for HER I had to DECLINE!!!! AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting PATIENTLY for a pin or some discount for our trip in November. I'm MAD.

I called to change my discoun from AAA to the general public code, then I got the monster code in my maiden name so I asked to change it, he did not even ask me for the pin code on the email. ( maybe it will work for you) all they can do is say no right?

Just got the Monster Pin last night, and we were going 7 - 13. Now we're going 13-18. Yes, it's so worth it.

You should call and check if they'll let you use it. I have found they are relaxing their policies on that.

My daughter received the Monster PIN in the mail (I guess from her trip last year with her fiancee'). I called and they let me use it since she was a family member and we were in the computer from our previous visits.
Call and good luck as the CM told me the PIN was selling out fast.

REALLY??? We just back from Disney Friday and I booked BB for WL and came home to find dh got this PIN in the mail while we were gone. I am going to have to talk to him and see if he wants to switch to a Mod so we can add dlx ddp. Our bb offer was only good for deluxe or villas, but we could get a lot more for our money this way . . .

Just and FYI - even though the flyers in the room (or email bouncebacks) don't always list all categories you can inquire what the bounceback discount is at other resort levels. In other words just because your flyer said Deluxe and villas, there is likely a bounceback for mod and value levels as well.

I feel your frustration.Up until this year I never got any.Now I have gotten at least 4 pins since the start of this year( including the monster pin and Free dining for dates into December) and I can't use them..Now I gotta hope and pray that some of them will come next year

Also frustrating ...........is GETTING the PIN and not being able to use it. I got the PIN last week, but I'm a teacher and all the dates it's valid are dates I can't go because we don't get vacation days and our 3 personal days can't be taken consecutively or in connection with a holiday. I wish I could share it

I received this June 2nd. Unfortunately we're not going until 2012. I just have one question for those who received this offer and are going this year.... Did you already have a package booked already? We first went in 2008 and NEVER received any pin code (we booked in March to go in Dec) I always wondered if we didn't receive any pin codes because it was noted we already booked.

As long as you arrive sometime between 11/28 and 12/4 (which you do, on 12/2), the code is for the length of your stay up to ten days, I think.

We got the code too! Weren't planning on going this year, but might change my mind now.

When I booked our trip for August, the room discount did not extend past the last day of the offer, even though we were checking in while the code was in effect. However, it's always worth checking.

That's what I was wondering. It goes through December 18, so we technically could check in that day and stay through Christmas for 40% off if they'd honor the code based on your check in date. Hopefully someone can post based on experience if this code will allow for that

I would also like to know if this works we arrive on nov 30 - dec 11 and would like to use the code for the full trip

Nope. I checked with my travel agent at Small World and with WDW reservations. The room only Monster Pin discount only works for the exact nights that the discount is offered. It does not work for the entire length of your stay if you check in during the discount window and stay past it. She said this is the case for all room only discounts...I don't know about that, but it's definitely the case for the Monster PIN.
