Monster Energy Drink at HS

I was looking for an energy drink yesterday and couldn't find one in the parks. In case any other non-coffee drinkers ever find themselves in desperate need for caffeine, you can get one from a vending machine for $4 at HS. It's one of the machines outside the park, by the busses and lockers.

All the resorts sell them in the food courts too (which does you very little good once you're at the parks! :) )

Many of the cart vendors sell powerade for the non-vending machine option. It's easy to overlook that it's not just a fruit drink. If you don't see it, ask whatever cart vendor is near you and they will be able to point you to them. They tend to be every other cart or the small tucked under some structure spot (like across from tsmm).

No caffeine in Powerade, though. :(

My boyfriend and I are big Monster drinkers. The resorts don't sell the kind we like, Rehab Lemonade and Ice Tea mix. Our arrival days are always early morning, so we get to the resort, room isn't ready that early so we drop our bags off, get the bus to Disney Springs, grab something to eat, then walk over to the parking lot and grab a cab and make a trip to the gas station, buy what we'll need for the week, drop that off with our bags and then start our day. It really doesn't take that much time and then were set for the week instead of paying four dollars for a flavor we don't really care for.

Is it easier to get the cab from DS instead of walking over to the gas station and just cabbing or ubering back to the resort? (although I heard there's some new challenges like which passenger walkway and how you get to it as construction has progressed.)

The construction was what really threw us off, so we found it way easier to just go to DS then take a cab from the parking lot. There's already cabs there waiting so it wasn't hard to get one. Then from the gas station back to the resort. It probably took 20 minutes total. Plus we want to eat something so going to DS first just works out the best.

20 minutes being from time in cab, to gas station, to resort.

You can also stock up on them before you leave home or hit a Publix before you go to the resort.
