Monsieur Paul's NYE Special Event Menu

Has anyone ever been there on the 31st of December for either the special lunch/early dinner or later event with 2 seatings? There's a huge jump in price between the 2 times and as of now although it's open for ADRs no menus have been released:

• 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Special prix-fixe lunch for $89 per person (adult or child) plus tax and gratuity
• Starting 9:00 PM: Special prix-fixe dinner for $245 per adult ($310 with wine) plus tax and gratuity

Wondering if we'll be able to see the fireworks from there and if there is a balcony for viewing?

I'm trying to decide if I should stick with the unknown or continue my search for the perfect NYE meal.

Also in search of the perfect NYE meal. I don't have experience with Monsieur Paul on NYE but definitely no balcony for fireworks viewing. I believe there are 1-2 windows through which you might have an obstructed view IF you happen to be sitting there but generally not deemed a spot that offers fireworks views.

Contemporary's shindig sounds like fun but too many chances of seeing an overabundance of silly adult acting out over there. Looking for something a bit more sedate in keeping w/ our status as "pillars of the community" what knows nothing about disco dancing, glow cube drinks and rude t-shirts (she's never seen my "Oops..I left the baby on the bus!" Roy Lichtenstein inspired t shirt, thank goodness. Her father was inflicted w/ it as a child but by now should be able to pay for his own psychiatrist) for our DGD. Better she thinks we are serious ol' farts, LMAO.

Well tracked down a phone number for the restaurant (google is your friend!, LOL) and asked when they anticipated posting the menus for NYE.

Was told it should be done by mid November at the latest and there will probably be some changes to the prix fixe menu served earlier in the day in deference to time needed to serve the full house. Makes sense to me and since I've ADRs for both events I can wait a little longer to figure out what reservation to drop.
