It seems like too many eateries that made a trip worthwhile are still closed: Jiko, FF, MP, Takumi-TeI, V&A…just sigh.

Bumping this thread, only because I randomly looked at the Monsieur Paul menu today and it looks like there is a $175/person prix fixe menu as the only option. I don't recall this previously being offered before, either as the only option or as an option. Can anyone else recall what was on the menu pre-COVID? If the V&A-style prix fixe wasn't, perhaps it's a sign of things to come...

I think there was a filet and a fish. I thought you could get some of those mains on the prix fixe, but you could get any of the mains separate. It was more than a year before covid when we last went though.

If memory serves there was an a la carte and a prix-fixe option. We always ordered a la carte.

This menu was updated with these changes last summer IIRC.

Hopefully cultural representatives coming this summer moves the needle.

Glad to have Jiko and FF open for our last trip. Their food was as good as always.

No, that's pretty similar to the prix fixe menu I spotted before our trip last fall.

We both hoped it would reopen but were disappointed.

If prix fixe is all they have upon reopening, we'll not return. The a la carte choices were lovely. What's on this menu is terribly limited. A second course "choice" that offers only one thing? No, definitely not.

The servers we had when we ate there a few years ago were not french. So I doubt the return of international workers impacts this restaurant

I had not seen that menu. It is a prix fixe menu, but missing most of the really good options that made the restaurant special. Hoping that is not the menu the restaurant reopens with (whenever that is)

Same thought that it was high. If it included a wine flight, then not so bad.

Fortunately I was up at a ridiculous hour....got my reservation for 3 at 7:15 !

Given the dress code, and just the fact it’s a special evening, it means leaving the park for a shower and change at hotel..and losing precious park time. I can make that up via early entry and other days, though.

I can’t wait !
