Monrail opening question

What time does the monorail open? I have an ADR for Chef Mickey's at 7:30am. Can I get the monorail from Epcot to the Contemporary that early? Epcot will be our park of the day that day. Anyone know???

The Epcot monorail will not be operating that early unless Epcot has morning EMH. Then you might be able to get the monorail at 7AM from Epcot, but you would be hard pressed to make it to CR by 7:30.

It sounds like you are staying off site. Your best bet is to park at the CR and then drive to Epcot after breakfast.

The resort monorail starts running at 7, but the Epcot one doesn't. As Ed said, you will be better off driving to the CR if you are staying offsite. If you are onsite, then take the MK bus from your resort, and walk over to CMs. Or you could try parking at the TTC for the day.

Thanks!!! I think we will probably have to park at CR then drive back over to Epcot. We should have plenty of time to eat aand still be back in time for a good parking spot. I need handicapped parking so I want to be sure that lot isn't full...I think we should be ok.
So when I go to CR, do I need to give the guard my ADR#, my name, both or what??? I've never done this I've always just taken Disney transportation.
