Where all does the Monorail pick up/drop off at? When I went to DL about 16 years ago it went to the Disneyland Hotel, which is where we are staying on are upcoming trip. Does it still go to the Disneyland Hotel? Thanks in advance.

The DL Monorail goes to the Downtown Disney station which is right next to the Rainforest Cafe. The DTD station is not too far from the DLH.

It stops at the disneyland hotel/down town disney... which is now called the down town disney stop (the stop is in the same spot it always hes been)..... and tomorrowland in disneyland.

Don't count on it being great for transportation. While it stops about 100 years from the DLH, still the same spot where it did before, the DLH complex is quite different and has moved away from the monorail.

Since it stops in Tomorroland it's not always convinient unless that is where you want to get on or exit. Also it can have delays or temporary closures. It's great to use when it looks handy.

Depends on where your room is. But from where DLH and DTD meet, the walk from there is about 10 min. at a leisurely pace.

I arrive tomorrow in the afternoon. We plan on having dinner at Rainforest Cafe then take the monorail into the park. I've never done this...where do you show your park tickets? At DTD or when you disembark?

Before you get on the monrail there is a check point to check your bags and give your tickets. I love using the monorail. It has always been running when I'm there and I don't need to see the entrance every time as I go 3 or 4 times a year.

When we stayed in the Disneyland hotel last summer, we walked to the entrance in the morning but used the monorail to get back, depending on where we were when we decided to go back to the hotel. When finishing up anywhere near tomorrowland, the monorail is such an amazing rest to get back to DTD without walking (after walking all day long!). We used it pretty often!

That's 100% correct. DTD goes from the corner of the DLH to the security check that lines the Esplanade between DL and DCA.
