Does anyone know how much the toy monorail is at the stores? I am thinking of having my DS earn Disney dollars this year and want to know how much he'll have to earn to buy it. Thanks.

Oooh, that's more than I thought. He'd have to be really good to earn that much. Don't think that would happen.

not sure if this would be as cool depending on his age, but when dd6 was younger he purchased the remote control monorail which was about 20 or so.... the other ones came later down the road!

This was my boys' big purchase at WDW.

However, you can get a little toy monorail (not motorized) for $10-$12. They played with that just as much as the $70 one.

My DS3(at the time) got one - the diecast one. It definately was not $70 bucks - I was thinking it was around $25. But he broke it within 24 hours. Was very disappointed.
