Monorail to MK for early PS?

I'm going to be driving from FL west coast early in late July and have an 8:05 PS for Crystal Palace, mainly to get in the park before opening. I will be staying at the All Star Movies, and will be "pre-registering", hopefully, by 7AM, so I should have my parking placard, tix, etc. My plan, at this point, is to park in the main MK parking lot adjacent to the TTC, and take the monorail over to the MK. I should be at the monorail terminal by 7:30. Is this the best course of action to get to the MK early? I *really* want to have access to my car after leaving MK, probably around closing time (10PM?) to avoid the resort bus hassle.

Thanks,

If you want to use your car, yes.

Make sure you bring your PS number with you because you will not be lot on the monorail without it.

Ed,

Someone on another board suggested that I might be cutting it a little too close on trying to pre-register, drive to TTT lot, get to the monorail station, catch a monorail, and get to the MK turnstiles in an hour or less. He suggested I consider catching the MK bus from the AS/Movies, since it drops off right in front of the entrance. What was implied in his suggestion is that the monorail station may be packed, even an hour and a half before official park opening. My backup plan, which he also suggested, is to simply skip pre-registration, drive directly to MK, and pay the "day guest" parking lot fee, in order to save time getting to the monorail station, if I'm delayed at any point. Any comment?

Yes, taking the bus would probably be quicker depending on how long you wait for the bus.

Rule of thumb is to be at the bus stop 45 minutes before your PS.

Since you want your car shen you leave MK, and if you at the TTC at 7:30, you shouldn't have a problem getting on the RESORT monorail (and making it to your 8:05 breakfast as long as you bring your PS number with you. When you get to the TTC, head towards the Resport monorail. A CM will ask you for your PS and then let you through.

Yes, there will be a crowd for the EXPRESS monorail, since it wouldn't start running for another hour or so.
