Monorail to CR -- How long from MK gates to CR?

We have a 5:20 ADR at CM, and we want to ride the monorail at least one time (there and back) so how much time should I allow from the MK gates to CR?

keeping in mind you might have to wait for the monorail at MK, i would be leaving the park 4:45. you did not mention your party size/make-up. this will also need to be considered. 2 adults could make this in plenty of time. also, do you want time to look around/shop the contemp before dinner? hope this helps. happy eating!

I would second leaving the park around 4:45 -- and I mean actually being out of the gates at that time. You have to plan for a couple of minutes to walk to the monorail (make sure you get on the monorail that goes to the resorts!), then a possible couple minutes of waiting. Once you're on the monorail, it's a quick ride as the Contemporary is the first stop. Plus, if you're early, it's possible you could get seated early. Have fun!
