Monorail Times

We are planning on staying at the Grand Floridian when we go in October 2008. We love the character breakfast at the Polynesian. Does anyone know what time the monorail starts between resorts. We are early risers and the earlier the better.

Forget the monorail. It's a five minute stroll between the two resorts.

The resort monorail begins running at 7 am.

But I agree with Ducklite. The walk is lovely and you will almost certainly beat the monorail even at that early hour. I do think it can be more like a 7-10 minute walk though.

As the monorails start carrying more passengers, it is much faster to just walk. And early in the day, you never know when there might be a safety check, etc..

It would take a while to go by monorail. The resort route runs clockwise so you would have to ride the monorail nearly all the way around to get to the Poly from the GF.
