I would LOVE to have a monorail going to DHS and AK, and I don't think that a monorail line would necessarily ruin the scenery in AK. I live in NY, not all that far from the Bronx Zoo. They have a monorail ride there as an attraction. The seats all face to the side of the train, and look out. The side is open, and the train travels over habitats so you can view animals from it. If they can make it work in NY, I'm sure Disney could make the monorail fit in at AK. After all, it wouldn't necessarily have to enter the park anywhere. A monorail stop in the parking area would be no more obtrusive to the park scenery than the bus stops.
However, my vote was for neither. The poll asked which Disney SHOULD do. While I would enjoy the monorail option for those parks, I don't think that Disney should expand the monorail at all. It is a huge, and vastly expensive undertaking, and I feel strongly that money would be much better spent maintaining / updating the current monorail system, and expanding / updating the parks. Animal Kingdom is getting some love, as is MK, and DTD. EPCOT, while one of my favorite parks, desperately needs to feel some Disney love.
