Monorail Resorts Poll

We will be there for August 2008 for 5 night and we will only go to Epcot and MK, so want to stay at one of the monorail resorts. I have pretty much wanted to stay at the Polynessian for a long time, but wanted to hear everybodies prefferences before deciding.

We've stayed at the Poly and CR many times. I love the theming at the Poly, but staying in the tower at the CR is still my favorite. I like just going down the elevator and hopping on the monorail. Either way, you can't go wrong!

I LOVE the GF - everything about it. Only stayed there my first time in December, but if money was no object we'd be staying there every time...

Between the C and the P I'd definitely take the Polynesian. I love the theming!

Never stayed any any of them. Would love to stay at the Polynesian one day.

Grand Floridian doesn't do much for me in the theming department. Would like to stay there as part of the "we've stayed at every Disney resort" goal.

Contemporary does absolutely NADDA for me.

COntemporary tower room overlooking the MK. Can't beat it. PLUS you can walk to the MK.

By far it's CR with a room on the MK side! We've done this many times and its just really wonderful sitting out on your patio in your pj's watching the fireworks over the castle, and when its over, not having to fight the crowds to get back to your resort.

You can't go wrong with any of them IMHO. Poly is my fav, so I voted for it, but I love the other two as well.

I voted for the Poly as you can walk to the TTC and board the monorail there instead of having to board the monorail at your resort and then switch to the Epcot monorail at the TTC. But of course it depends on which longhouse you get if you select the poly - some of the longhouses are further then others from the TTC. Have fun - you can't go wrong really.

I picked Poly because it's my favorite and you stated that you've always wanted to stay there.

My second choice would be CR MK view if the construction in the tower is finished.

The GF just doesn't do it for me, I don't care for the theme.

They are all wonderful resorts. It is a great decision to have to make.

Normally, I would vote for the CR. However, the OP stated they always wanted to stay at the Poly. To me, if you always wanted to stay somewhere, and are finally willing to shell out the extra money to do so, go to where your own heart is. That will always work best for you. This past year I stayed at the CR after dreaming about it my whole life. Nothing will compare to that moment I first walked into my room, then out onto my balcony over looking the MK. It was amazing. Hopefully you'll have a similar experience when you finally get to stay at the Poly
