Looking to leave MK during the peak crowds and heat of the day and have lunch at one of the Monorail Resorts. Can non-guests mobile order and pick-up food from the pool bars? Looking at Courtyard and Beaches. I know at some Deluxes, you need a wristband to enter the pool area. If I remember correctly, at Hurricane Hannah's (BC) there's a pick-up window *outside* of the pool enclosure. Wondering if something similar is at GF?

Not sure why you would limit your group to only eating outside in the sun and heat. All 3 resorts have QS offerings with A/C and shade. A great option is Geyser Point (GP) at the WL via a boat ride from MK. GP is right on Bay lake with a great selection of dining and bar service.

At the Polynesian Resort you will find Captain Cooks QS and Traders Sam's Tiki Terrace (3 PM - 10 PM).

Poly main pool bar has an area outside the gate the quiet pool does not. GF main pool bar does not I can mot recall the quiet pool bar walked passed at least 20 times want to say it does not but there is the outside side wall outside the gates. BLT is inside the gate. BC is outside the gate but there is no seating I am aware of. I will note as already mentioned you will be in the sun eating. WL you can order although technically not a pool bar walk over to roaring fork as there is a lot of outside covered seating. You could do similar at POLY but some of those tables are in the sun.
GF counter service IMO has by far the best food out of the ones you mention and is very comfortable. This would be my choice for a CS at a monorail resort.

Geyser Point is already on agenda. Has been from day 1. We have the QS DP and 2 days in MK so that's 4 QS credits to use. Each comes with adult beverage option but we lose that if we eat at QS in MK. So, *besides* Geyser Point, looking for a few other options. Gasparilla made menu changes in the past 3 weeks and took away 2 of its most popular options. What replaced them is NOT getting great reviews at all. Contempo Cafe- we've enjoyed eating there in the past but it's been years ago. Used to be touted as a hidden gem as far as resort QS's go! Recent (6mo ago or less) reviews are NOT exactly singing its praises. Just meh most say

Some resorts limit mobile ordering to hotel guests, you can still order in person. You can just open the app now and see if you can mobile order. Also I don’t think all pool bars have mobile ordering.

I can verify that the Contemporary does this for Contempo Cafe. When I stayed there and did a mobile order, I got a pop up notification saying that you had to be staying at the Contemporary to make one.

IDK if this is helpful, but Contempo has bounced back in Tom from Disney Tourist Blog's eyes at least: https://www.disneytouristblog.com/contempo-cafe-disney-world-restaurant-review/

Any gated pool area is for resort guests only.
I understand what you're saying but I'm not looking to use the pool as we will be in MK that day. I know for a fact that the pool bar at Storm a long pool at BC is gated and when we stayed there, security was always present checking for wristbands BUT I visited in '22 as non-guest and ordered from Hurricane Hannah's from the side of the building that faces Crescent Lake. So some do allow non-guests to order from deluxe pool bars. This is what I am asking about regarding Poly CR etc

Thanks for updating with you DDP QS details. To expand the list would be Roaring Fork at (WL). Contemp Cafe at (CR) varies by what you pick from the menu. Gasparilla Island Grill or the Courtyard Pool Bar at (GF).

You might take a look at the menu at the Trail's End at (FW) since it is QS and a short walk from the FW boat dock from MK.

Thanks! I will work off of that list! Appreciated!!!

That happens only when the restaurant is receiving an unusually high order volume - typically when the MK is closing/ closed and during periods of inclement whether where people escape to eat.

I’ve seen the message only at the Contempo Cafe and only a few times. Definitely not common (but not uncommon).

When that message pops up you can dismiss it and still order. It doesn’t verify you’re a guest when you order. It’s just to deter people from ordering when driving to park. If you take Disney transport you can get to it still.

Honestly, if everyone who wanted to get a bite to eat/drink was able to enter the gate the pool area would be invaded. We all know that. How unfair to guests staying at the resort. Not everyone would be respectful even if you would. It would be utter chaos.

There are plenty of places to eat at resorts that are not behind a gate. Have a great trip.

You're really not reading the words I'm typing. Let me see if I can try to make you understand one more time: At BC's pool bar "Hurricane Hannah's, non-BC people, those just strolling along the walkway around Crescent Lake, can access a counter and order food WITHOUT entering the gated pool area. I repeat, this side of the pool bar is NOT BEHIND any GATE (read that again!) I've been a guest at BC more than once and have spent many afternoons at the main pool and ordered drinks and food from HH's. I have never witnessed any "utter chaos" due to the invasion you seem to want to imagine of non-resort guest ordering from the BC pool bar. If you read my OP again you will see that I was asking if a similar situation exists at any of the Monorail deluxes. That situation being a window that doesn't require entrance into the gated pool area. I know pool hopping is a touchy subject and I have never once even considered it and so I made a point to be clear that I wasn't interested in entering behind any security for resort guests. Are we clear now???? ETA: The pic I've attached shows the access the public has to HHs. There's even a sign on the public walkway stating it's open, effectively inviting people walking by to come order food.

I did mobile orders both in the morning hours and early afternoon and the pop up showed up both times so I assumed it was a permanent thing. Contempo never had a line either time I went, so it's not really needed IMO.
