Monorail Resort Bar Crawl

Wife and I are going to be on a short, adults only trip and I think it would be fun to spend an evening exploring the classic Monorail resorts. I figured what better way to do this than to do a bar crawl. I've never really spent much time at the monorail resorts, with the exception of eating a few times at California Grill. Any advice or ideas for how to tackle the Crawl would be greatly appreciated.

A monorail bar crawl is a lot of fun! Look at the lounges ahead of time and verify they will be open/ have food when you do your crawl. Some are only open in the evenings so your choices may be limited if you are at a resort during the day.

DH and I did one and we each got our own drinks and shared food. We skipped food at the poly because we were too full from the burger at Steakhouse 71.

I recommend starting your tour early, right at 3 when Trader Sam's opens. You'll get on the walk-up list, and will likely have 1 hour or so to wait. Visit the other lounges at the Poly, browse the shops, walk around the grounds etc... while you wait. TS is the hardest lounge to get into, so that's the one you should prioritize.

Next, monorail over to Contemporary and hit the Outer Rim, or the bar at Steakhouse 71. Steakhouse closes at 9, Outer Rim at 11. This isn't in "order" of the monorail route, but hear me out below

Finish up at Enchanted Rose at Grand Floridian. It's a nicer experience than the lounges at Contemporary, so I'd save that for last.
