I want to make RD at EPCOT one morning and have never used the monorail's for main mode of transportation to a RD. It is my first time staying at BLT.

I read the Dis information on the monorails, that they begin operating one hour prior to park opening. Will I be able to catch the first monorail out of the Contemporary and be able to transfer the first monorail out of the TCC ?

I was very saddened to learn on the Disney information that you can no longer ride up front with the drivers. We have been staying at AKL, SSR and BC so we had no need to use the monorail. I was really looking forward to seeing if I could sit up front :confused3. Is this still the rule, has it changed since the 2009 accident ?

You'll likely not make the first monorail out of the TTC if they all start at the same time.

After the terrible accident in which a CM got killed, WDW no longer allows riding in the front of monorails.

Don't ever expect to ride up front again.

No idea if you can catch both monorails at their first trips. But even if you miss the first one to EPCOT you should still make rope drop.

You can ride up front on the Disneyland Monorails, just not Disney World. You'll have no problem making rope drop, just probably not the first monorail to Epcot.

As everyone is saying, don't be concerned about having to be on the "first" monorails from each location ... you'll make it to Epcot's rope drop with no problem whatsoever.
