Hi everybody,

I'm just curious about something and hopefully somebody'll have an answer. In June, I'll be at the BWV. According to disney time schedule, the Magic Kingdom wil be open till 11 but Epcot will close future world and World showcase at 7 and 9 respectively. Does that mean that if we're at MK at 11, we won't be able to take the monorail back to Epcot to walk back to the BWV or do they allow you to walk through Epcot even though all the rides and shows are closed. Thanks for any info.

I have never tried this, but I am fairly certain they will deny you entrance into EPCOT and direct you to the busses. Especially that long after closing. I am not 100% on this.

Sorry, but you'll have to take the bus home. They are not going to allow you into Epcot after it is closed.

A) You won't be able to enter EPCOT after it's closed, if MK closes after EPCOT. This means you won't be able to walk from the EPCOT monorail station to BWV.

B) I've done this route a few times when EPCOT was open, and believe me, after a long day at the parks, this trip is a looong one, if EPCOT were still open. It's not like you hop on the monorail at MK and it whisks you straight to EPCOT. First of all, at MK park closing, expect to wait for 2 or 3 monorails to fill up completely before you even get to board one. Expect a good 10-15 minute queue for an available monorail. Then the monorail only takes you to the TTC, not EPCOT. At the TTC you have to switch monorails, if the EPCOT one is still running. You probably could board the first EPCOT monorail that came (since traffic to EPCOT at that time should be fairly light), but the wait for the trains can still take 10 minutes or more. After you get to EPCOT, if you were allowed in, you have to walk all the way from the front of EPCOT to the back where the Intl. Gateway is. That is a long walk, to me, especially on tired feet from a day's park-walking. We've done this several times, and have never made it in less than 90 minutes total time including waits, transfers, etc. I do not recommend this at all, unless you time it with an actual park visit to EPCOT for rides, etc.

C) If you hop on the BWV bus from MK, you'll have about a 20 or 30-minute commute, total. No more walking, transfers, or anything.
