Monorail Plasets vs Monorail Toys?

During our recent trip, our 3 year old fell in love with the monorail. He's been asking non stop about the monorail toys we saw at the stores. I know from looking through this forum, what we saw were expandable monorail playsets - and they are WAY out of our budget thanks to shipping costs.

However, my hubby "thinks" he saw little die cast (think HotWheels) type of monorails for sale. Is he correct? If so, any suggestions on what to search under online or via eBay? I'm up in Canada, so going to Disney to purchase is just not happening anytime soon

Yes there is a small die cast monorail it has four cars in the train but more could be added if you bought two set. The train has wheels on the bottom so that it can roll on the ground. There are also wheels inside so if you wanted to make track for it it could ride on it.
