If we get Early Morning Magic tix from 7:45-9am at MK on a Tuesday should we drive to the TCC and ride monorail or just take the bus? I heard the monrail gets worked on on Tues and may not be running that early?

If you're doing EMH, I presume you're staying on site. There should be a bus that goes right from your resort to MK front gate. You can certainly drive to the parking lot and go to the TTC, but not sure the monorail is up that early. If it isn't, the ferry likely would be. I like the ferry quite a bit, it's a nice ride. Just budget about 20 minutes from the time you park in the lot until you're at the front gate. You may get lucky and it's only 10 minutes, but plan on 20.

Yes staying on site. Its the early morning event with buffet breakfast at Pinocchio village haus and the 3 rides available (pooh, peter pan, seven dwarfs). Vosts 69/adult and 59/kid. Limited availability.

I would take the bus. We drove to the TTC last year for MK bc we had an ECV (Mom didn't want to take it on the bus) and it just adds quite a bit of time. This year we will not have an ECV so we will bus to MK.

We did it in May and caught a bus from AoA at 6:30am. We were the first at MK, security was not open yet. It was probably 7:20 before it opened.

There is buses at 6:30 and 7 (+/- 10 minutes) that will get you there with tons of time to spare. I took the 6:30 once for a tour and with no traffic it got there really fast, too fast and we stood around for well over an hour before we got let in (same time you would get in). TTC doesn't' speed up getting to MK and actually slows you down as you have to get across the lake and that early can sometimes be a challenge and you'll be getting on a pretty full ferry as it's when rope droppers start to appear as well.

Thinkingthe experience for kids to ride ferry/monorail might be fun and then ride back in own car at end of day....hmmm decisions, decisions!

I do the same for first time visitors that I'm going to MK with. Use the monorail in the morning as it goes through contemporary and then the ferry back. if monorail isn't running ferry to MK in the morning and use the resort loop back to TTC, it'll be an extra stop but they'll go through contemporary.

One more question! There are no more tix left for the EMM the day we will be there. Is there a good chance as it gets closer and I keep checking availabilty that I will snag four tix for the family?

It's a long shot but yes keep looking you never know. you might be able to get guest relations to sell you one once your at property. again a long shot and make a plan b as that will probably be what happens.

Thx! I just learned of this EMM when I am there so I have my original plan but Im willing to pay more since kids are early risers and 7dwarfs is what my daughter is most excited for!

I'd take an Uber to the Contemp, and then walk. For the price of the EMM event, leave nothing to chance. Be waiting in line for entrance at 7:30am.
I'd also suggest calling the reservations line and not just checking on-line for availability. I was told I couldn't make reservations online several times because there were no tix avail. The site was throwing me the Lilo/Stich "Ooops Sorry" message, but nothing about tickets being unavail. I pleaded my case a third time to a rep online, and she easily got tickets for me on the first try, and said she has seen that issue before - perhaps there was a cancellation at the same time she searched for me, but she told me that sometimes the site only allows you to purchase if you select the EXACT time of the EMM, and not just the "breakfast" time frame on the mde site. (?) Whatever - I got my tix, and I was happy.

Then head and do haunted mansion n its a small world then lunch and splash mtn FP fro. 1155-1255. Then Big thunder FP is at 1255-155. then try to get JC FP for 4th and PoC FP if lucky! Then pretty much got all the main attractions we want to do! Parade, CP ADR for dinner and do any of the filler shows till Wishes and maybe a few rounds of Peoplemover for a snooze!
