Monorail ? on MK EMH mornings

Hi all,

Just a quick question about the monorail on EMH mornings at MK. I've decided that I'm driving to the parks each day on my trip (I always give up my seat on the bus, so there's really no point in riding ). If MK opens at 8 am, what time do the trams and monorail start running at the TTC? Would I be able to get there around 7:15-7:30? Just curious. Thanks!

Resort monorails start VERY early every day.

You would likely be routed to the Resort Monorail (once you made it up thru the crowd to a CM at the monorail loading area, and could show your resort ID's) as the MK Express monorail and the ferry boats are usually "held" at TTC until close to "regular" opening time on EHM days.

The REASON is Disney expects RESORT guests to take Disney transportation to EHM (and most DRIVERS are not WDW Resort guests).

The DAK parking lot is notorious for not even allowing cars INTO the lot until much closer to "regular" opening time on EHM days. (Many guests have reported this here.)

I recommend you do NOT drive to an AM EMH at any park, but take the bus... you'll have less hassle.

If you really want to drive, then park at the TTC and walk over to the monorail station at the Polynesian resort. It's a short walk, and it's worked for us in the past.
