Monorail Gate Construction ?

Ok quick question

I know that the monorail stations at TTC were undergoing construction to put in automated gates, I've heard that this construction is going on at the MK station currently...are the monorail still running to the MK station though? I'm a monorail junkie and would be so sad if I couldn't ride the monorail to MK on my upcomming trip next week.

I was there last week and yes, there is construction going on at the Magic Kingdom Monorail station. Not to worry though, the monorail was up and running from the Magic Kingdom to the Magic Kingdom resorts and the TTC.

There are three monorail lines, one from Epcot, and two serving the Magic Kingdom. Only one (serving MK) is out of service. During the middle of the day when there are not so many guests arriving at the parking lots to go to the parks, you can ride the other two as much as you want.

The MK Express is still in service... however, it is a one-way only. In the morning, it is currently inbound only. Early to mid afternoon, they switch, and it becomes outbound only. During these times, the opposite flow traffic is directed to Ferryboats, as to not clog the Resort monorail.
