Monorail from GF, really that bad?

We used the buses along with various other Disney transportation during a prior visit and it worked fine. Sometimes a bus had just departed and we had to wait a few minutes for the next one, but others times we boarded a bus and it soon left for our destination. I think some people are impatient and think Disney transportation is some sort of personal valet service which it was never intended to be. Clearly if you exit MK after the fireworks, it should be no surprise MANY others are also leaving and you will have to wait your turn for whatever form of transportation you choose.

Wonder if Disney will put more buses on the monorail is getting old and sometimes you get stuck on it. Never liked that you really are stuck.

That happened last time. It stopped over the water on the way to EP. We were stopped there for what seemed like a good 15 minutes. And then, it truly seemed like they 'rebooted' the system. All the power went dead and it came back on a minute later. We joked that microsoft must be running the monorail now.

I always seem to forget that a lot of people have no experience with taking public transit on a regular basis. I am in Chicago so that is how I get around the city. Either on the L or on the buses. Sometimes I just want people to come here and try to get on the 146 express bus from downtown at 4:30pm. You would never complain about the buses at Disney again!

Lol, and we've visited Chicago enough to know that Chicago ain't even that bad when it comes to public transport!! Our experience is that it's one of the best. Definitely one of the cleanest cities!
