Monorail for MNSSHP?

We are going to MNSSHP on OCt. 30th and at 8:30 we are supposed to leave and go to the Grand Floridian for dinner with Cinderella and then return to the park. I called to ask if the monorail would be running that late at night and no one seemed to know. Has anyone else used the monorail late at night for the Halloween party? Thanks

Yes, all Disney transportation will be running to and from the MK.

The resort monorail runs until 2 hours after the MK closes which is at midnight on the MNSSHP nights. The express monorail runs between the MK and the TC back to the MK 'till 1 hour after closing.

Your fastest way to get to the GF when you leave the MK for the GF is to take the gold flag motor launch to the GF from the MK. The GF will be the first stop for the launch but the 4th stop for the resort monorail.

If the parks close early (I know, not on an MNSSHP night) I believe the resort monorail runs until 11pm. Just in case anyone wondered.

At the very least, they should have been able to tell the OP that the monorail would run until the end of the event. How did they expect to get all those guests back to their rooms otherwise? That's just silly!
