Monorail entrance to MHP?

I'm sorry if this has been asked yet, but can I enter MHP through the monorail? We're staying at the DLH and I'm hoping we can just take the monorail in. Or do we need to use the main entrance?

I would imagine you could, but it's never the fastest way to get into the park, and when you get off the monorail, you'll still have to traverse the park to get to Frontierland to get the bracelet.

As far as wristband distribution at that entrance, I don't know. But I don't think the monorail runs during the party, just for the 3 hour overlap before the park closes to other guests.

You can enter on your regular ticket. Then go to Frontierland and pick up the wristband, bag, and maps. But I would go to the front gate. The monorail can take longer than the walk to the front gate.

If you are only doing the MHP and entering on that, you will need to go to the front gate.

We tried to board the monorail last year in downtown disney with just a party ticket (we were arriving right at 3 and wanted to avoid the parade madness), and we were not allowed.

It makes sense that the monorail isn't running during the party because they use the platform for one of the treat trails.

Monorail is closed today if you are going to tonight's party because of heat (if you were trying to get in at 3). It is closed during the party as a trail
