Now that our best friends are joining us for our October trip, we have decided to do our first Monorail Drinkathon.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE the Tambu Lounge at the Poly, so we know what to order there, but we have never been to lounges at the Contemporary or the Grand Floridian.

Would love to know what your recommendations are!

Thanks!! :)

Since you like the Tambu, I have to ask, have you ever tried a Seven Seas? It's not on the menu anymore but if you have a bartender that knows how to make them you should definatly try it.

Minzer's has a nice Cosmo. I can't remember what we had at the Cont.--it's was our last stop and we had lot's of drinks by then!! :cool1:

Hee hee...we will be starting with the Contemporary. Who knows...after those Poly drinks, we might not be able to find the Monorail to get to the GF!

Good to know there are good Margaritas at the GF.

Hmmm, Seven Seas sounds good...maybe it has 7 kinds of liquor?

Maybe have a couple at the California Grille and enjoy the view.

For a change of scenery, hop on the boat at CR and head to the WL. Stop in the Territory Lounge and get a Pepper Pine Cone. It is an excellent Bloody Mary type drink. It is worth the trip!

We are having dinner at Artist Point one night and plan to visit the Territory Lounge...DH loves Bloody Marys, so thanks for this suggestion!

AP is our favorite restaurant at Disney. That will be a fun evening. Glad I could help!

I wish I could remember what it was called, but the Concourse Steakhouse had a mixed drink that was the best I've ever had anywhere. It was a Sunrise, or Sun something - it was amazing! :sunny:

Try a Space Monkey or Monorail Yellow(not on the menu anymore) at the Outer Rim Lounge at the CR.
