Its been a long time since we have ridden the monorail between the TTC & Epcot since we usually park hop after a break at our resort. This trip we are bringing my son's friend who has never been to wdw & we want him to experience as much as possible. Am I correct in that you get a view of Future World from the monorail on the way into EC from the TTC but not on the trip from EC to TTC? We will only do this once so I want to make certain we do the trip in the right way. Thanks

You've got it...TTC to Epcot you circle the Big Ball and Future World. Epcot to TTC you just head straight to the TTC.

It is indeed a spectacular view for the first-time visitor who has not yet been inside Epcot. Especially at just after sundown. I have tried to take first-timers on this leg their first evening on property.

Not just Future World, either - a wonderful view of World Showcase across the lagoon.

Thanks for the replies. this is going to be so much fun. We're not talking little kids here, the "boys" are 21, but A was here last weekend & we went over plans for the trip. He is so excited about everything from Dumbo to ToT.

If you ask one of the cast members on the platform at the TTC, you might be able to have four people ride up front with the Pilot, and get a nice panoramic view. If they say it's taken, ask to wait for the next train. It's only a 10 minute wait, which is less than most attractions, and is a great ride.

The ride over Epcot is especially dazzling at night during holiday time!
