That's not really fair. This has no impact on her CL status at all. Actually, she is very helpful with the JC game. Again, I just wish she would play later.

This is just not really very nice. Those other people are probably jealous. And people here probably didn't say what you did because we just don't agree with you.

I'd say keep playing! I mean the top ten really means "the top ten".. so it isn't your fault for doing your best. I mean, im a fireworks guy and there is some tough competition there. You can get alot better while playing tougher players as its makes you play harder. So, just keep playing

If I could do it I'd be up there too, it is not like Jungle Cruise is the only game on VMK, it's not even generally one of the most popular ones.

She asked us to comment on it... I personally would love it if LDE waited before she starts her credits for the day. And I am sure many others feel the same way.... I am also sure many do give not a rats tushy either way... But LDE DID ask for our opinions and those who gave them should not be scholded for doing so.....

Yes I did ask for them. And I appreciate hearing them directly, even if negative. I'd rather be told to my face that you hate my guts than be talked about in corners. Thanks!

Another problem is the carry-over of your games from the previous night. I logged on immediately at opening this morning - only to see you had the Top 2 slots already. (Yeah, I still made my Top Ten score, but I knew I only had a chance at slots 3-10.) As of right now, you have since taken 2 more slots.

I realized that also this morning, as when I first logged on and noticed I was still sitting in the top 2 slots.

As for being a CL and being on the top ten list, I don't see how that has any bearing on this. Search this board and almost all the other VMK boards. In the previous version of the game, I posted a thorough guide on how to get the same scores I did. I am currently working on an updated guide. And even in the game, when players see me they ask, and I always explain as best I can. So it's not like I'm hoarding the secrets to getting these scores. Remember, a CL means that VMK staff has recognized that player is a veteran player who knows his/her stuff. Are you then saying that leaders, even if they are good, should hold back as an example to others? So Michael Jordan, having been a role model to others, should have stopped after winning his first MVP award and not gone on to get his other 6 or 7 or however many he got after that? And aside from that, other than Doc, all the other players who are consistently on the JC top ten list are not CLs. So what about them? Does this mean they are allowed to monopolize it? Again, I don't see how my leader status has any bearing on this.

In regards to all the other comments, I'd first like to say, NO, I don't intend to do this on a regular basis. This is maybe the 3rd time I've done this. The other 2 times were because I was trying to get a good video for my guide. And in the future, I don't intend to do this on a regular basis. I do, however, like to play 3-4 times a day, especially now that it's faster. But the best times for me to play are the first and last hours, which of course are the hours many of you do NOT want me to play. -_-' Again, no, I can NOT play any time of the day I want to if I'm trying to get my best scores. The first hour and sometimes during lunch is the only times I can get my best scores because that's when I'm on my work computer. My home computer is good enough for me to get into the top ten, but isn't good enough for me to get those better scores.

In any case, I will definitely play at least once a day if possible. I've grown to love this game more than fireworks, mansion or pirates. Not to mention I seem to be one of the handful that understands it. -_-' I will however, do my best to not hold all ten spots. But I can not guarantee I will play later in the day. Again due to the differences between my computers.

whats the difference, Yavn said they were going to be changing it sooner rather than later anyway - currently, unless you get on first tyhing in the morning and get at least 30k (when I say first thing, I mean no later than 10:01 EST) you can not have a chance at making the list. 99% of the time, by 10:15, the LOWEST high score is 55k what a waste, a game only 6 players bother to play

I would like to say that I can not play after 1:00am GMT+1 / 2:00 AM GMT+1 so if I want credits I have no other choice than playing in the first hours of the game , but at least I am not a CL

I think that shows very good sportmanship on your part sillykid. I also think that if a person is assured they can get a top ten spot (or several) every day, then its more courteous to wait at least a half hour after opening to allow some others to get those credits too. My two cents.

On a side note, if its only about credits you can gather up lots of those by playing level three yeti vision before vmk opens. Spending the first 15 mins entering codes has been a lot more profitable for me than racing to play JC.

Yes there are a lot of top ten chances in Jungle.... until everyone starts shooting for 'their best score' first thing in the morning.... I can get top ten once... and no where near my best score... I play at the get go and stop around 25-30,000 and get my 750 credits... within minutes of my finish the big shooters finish driving what one needs to get top ten score to well over 45,000 (now... 55,000 + before the change) Once the scoring hits that level, there are only a small handfull people who can then get ON the list the list to get the big credits.... And since jungle pays so so little if your not on that top ten credit level, there is not much positive reinforcement for most players to stick it out and get better at it...
Anyway...
The information is out there how some people feel about it... what people do with that information is up to them.

But you know... it's all good. I have lots of credit making games availble to me... I do very well in all the other games..... It was just nice to get a second top ten credits in jungle in the mornings, but if I cant, I have other sources of credits.... It's just the total sportmans ship issue. To me it benifits everyone to get more top ten credits... at least the way I look at it... but like I said, in the whole scope of things, I have other things I can do....

Ideally I would love to see Jungle go on a rated system... score over this amount get this many credits... score over that amount and get that amount of credits...

Oh Erin, have you ever heard that phrase, "don't hate me because I am beautiful"? Well same thing here. There will ALWAYS be somebody so jealous or envious of how well you play that no matter what you try to do, they will see it as wrong. Your catch phrase: "Don't hate me because I play jungle cruise well!"

I applaud that you can get those scores with the new scoring system. I once, long ago, use to attempt to get that flawless shot and was actually pretty good at it until I found out that was not the way to go. So I am too rusty to make the attempt these days. Also, this game has been awful for me with feezing up ~ which by the way is why we don't see Wynsome playing it anymore~I happened to have a conversation with her about it and it seems that the game freezes for her now. Wynsome, for all who don't know, is the ultimate Jungle Cruise player, by far the best I have seen. But Erin and Doc are right up there with her too. Sadly I cannot play it much because of the freeze or loading issues. When I can manage to get into the game, I can't remember where those blasted animals show up anymore. LOL.

Should you wait? Of course not! Play whenever it is convenient for you and don't worry about it at all. (of course secretly I would wish for you to not play as much so I can get back up there, LOLOLOL-oops, did I write that out loud? )

If you are making another video, then there is no way you can stop from making the top ten list. I truly enjoyed your last video, even though it seemed like I was doing the exact same thing but not getting that score. But yes, I did one time reach that 65,000 so my character can be happy with that one time spectacular score. I look forward to seeing the new video, it will be awesome.

Bottom line is that not everybody will be happy about it and there really isn't much you can do about it either. My game has turned to pirates and where once I used to stink big time, I can now win pretty much every game I play. I can't tell you the names I get called now because of it. Some people will never be happy, that's all I can say.

I have no problem with someone monopolizing any of the top ten lists. The flaw with Jungle Cruise isn't with the people with the top ten scores, it's the lack of a reasonable payoff system. So I say, go for all ten spots and everyone, including the top ten winner write to the black hole to suggest they change the payoff scheme for Jungle Cruise.
