That's my motto.
If you are reading welcome.
I am getting my body back this year. I've somehow managed to lose it over the last 12 years and after having 4 babies, one just recently, it's time to find the Skinnie Minnie me. If you listen closely you can hear her.
My plan is this:
Before I got knocked up I was on my way to losing weight. I joined Utahmama's Disappearing Peeps thread, a wonderful group of people who are expert supporters of battling this thing we call weight loss.
We've moved mountains of fat over there!
It's a fastpass!
I am following South Beach. It worked great for me. I am also exercising. I want to be not only thin, but healthy. I know my body wasn't created to sit around. (But it's so much easier to sit than run.) I want to change that way of thinking.
Today is my start back day.
I had my coffee with splenda. I ate my eggs and veggies. I have my first jug of water poured. Let me take a good swig. I went to Sam's yesterday and got all of the essentials for my eating plan.
The things I've learned over my years of constant start and stop dieting is that you have to be accountable for what you are doing. It is very helpful to diet with others so you can share the ups and downs and unload so you don't overload by stuffing your face with food and sabbotage your hard work.
Don't step on the scale daily. To this day I even struggle with that.
Weigh in once a week and track your progress from there.
Set up mini goals and challenges. Makes it interesting and fun.
This is my journaling spot. I need it to succeed. This is my year.
My name is Monica (36). I'm a mother of 4 (11, 9, 3, 4 months)
I've been married to DH (45) 12 years. I run a licensed day care in my home and I'm going back to school to finish my degree in Special Education.
This is my year.
If you are looking for a great support thread head on over to our home. Don't be overwhelmed at the size. Just jump right in, introduce yourself, and get ready to get healty!
There's always room on the DISappearing Peeps thread!
