Why do you save it if you do?-I do save it.I save it for when I go to disney or when I want to buy something big. Right now I'm saving it for when I go to disney in May and Im saving for my birthday trip next april.=]

Do you have a savings account, checking account, credit card? i had a saving account. but then i had to pay my ex bf's bail because his family didnt have the money (and then never thought even thought about paying me back) and then loaned one of my friends $200. he paid me back..but i never got a chance to deposit it again, had to pay my phone bill. -_-

I have a SA, and a CA. I Made the checking account back when I had a paying job, right now it have zilch in it.

My savings account has 704.56 in it.

It used to have a lot more, but I spent it.

I've had paying jobs before, but none as rewarding as my current volunteer position.

Have you ever had a job? 4 jobs. My first job was at Quiznos. I was fired after a week because I was only 16, and the manager realized he couldn't work me more than 4 hours on a school night. The longest job, and my current job, is working at Build-A-Bear Workshop as a Master Bear Builder. I've worked there for almost 2 years. I had two "second" jobs: one was at a dog boutique, but I was fired because I took too much time off to grieve about the death of my papa. The other one just wasn't for me; it was a concierge job at the number one day spa in silicon valley. I got 50% off all treatments though! I should have just stuck with that job

I've been saving money because I'm paying my mom back 2k for our Disney trip (Which I did in the span of 3 months). I also have to save money because I have to buy a new bed, I need to pay for a security deposit on a house to rent in Santa Cruz, and I need new rear shocks in my baby Es-cape.

No, I've never had a "real" job. Just babysitting.

But, I'm most likely going to have to get one this summer because I have a few pretty expensive trips coming up the next few years.

So, yeah, nowadays I pretty much save anything.

I used to have a bank account at CIBC, but the bank moved so we switched to Coast Capital. I haven't bothered to open an account there yet, so my current bank is my bookshelf I do have a seperate account though at the Royal Bank where I put away money for University. I only have about $500 in there, which will buy me approximately two University textbooks.

I have a weekend job at Death By Chocolate as DP/Barista. Basically I make signature desserts, make drinks (Americanos, Lattes, Cappuchinos, etc.), wash dishes, clean the shop, take out the garbage, and sometimes I serve. It might seem like a classy place to be working, but it's a lot of work. By the end of the night my feet hurt so much I feel like I'm going to collapse, and I'm covered in chocolate sauce and coffee grinds. I work more than weekends in the summertime, and I get payed $6.50 an hour.

I save my money because other than my job I don't get much money. My grandparents give me $100 for my Birthday (which I put away for University), and $50 at Christmas (which I usually spend on Boxing Day), and I don't have an allowance.

I was saving up money from my job to put away, but since my parents are making me pay for my Rugby tour to Vancouver Island I'll be broke again and back to square one.

I usually save half spend the other half no matter what I get(Unless it $5 or below. Then I choose).

As for a job, I started babysitting last week then the kids Grandma lost her job so now I currently have no job.

I have a job, have for about a year.
the pay is crummy though 7.50/hr. ick.

i am a spend-aholic.
if i have money i'll spend it.

i used to be the opposite, but now i spend like a madfool.

it is quite common that i will get down to about 0.30$ in my chequing account between pays.

DEBIT CARDS ARE THE DEVIL!

i spend so much because i can, because i have money, and i have my little plastic debit card in my wallet at all times, so when i want something, i can just buy it. it's very dangerous.

like if something comes up and i have to pay for it right away (for example, a friend of mine asked me to go to WDW with her for a few days....hotel & food paid for, i just had to pay for the flight...but i didn't have anough money and i wasn't getting paid for another 2 weeks.)


so yeha, it's dangerous.
i have about 90.00$ in my bank account, and i get paid on thursday and my birthday is coming up on sunday,
so hopefully i'll be able to save some of it.


my mom started an ING account for me, they take out 25$ a week from my bank account. so that way at least i'm sure to save SOME money, even if i spend all teh rest.
