Sorry if this has been done to death but im on my phone and it wont let me search!

How much do you think we might need for a 4nt/5day stay,we have 2'meals' booked and paid for already,so will need enough for another 4/5meals,snacks and some spending money!!
There are 2adults and 2children :)

This is a toughie!
It all depends on what you want to bring home and where you want to eat!
So for myself and DS I would budget €30 per night for my dinner (including a drink with dinner and a cocktail after) and €15 for DS. For lunch I'd say €25 would cover us both and I generally buy the kids a jumper each (€25) a tshirt each (€15) and a toy (€25 each) so for me and DS that would be::

Dinner €180 > €45 x 4 (no dinner on last day) > Dinners would be at Cafe Mickey, hotel buffets etc.
Lunch €125 > €25 x 5 > Lunches would be in the park, like Caseys or Toad Hall.
Presents €130 > two jumpers, tshirts and toys.

So thats €435. I would also spend about another €200 on bits and pieces like popcorn, drinks, pins, magnets for the grannies and sweets for nieces and nephews.
So we'll say I'd bring €650 and have another €100 just incase money.

My shareholders card helps a lot and we always end up spending loads on extras that catch our eye.

In January I plan to be more strict on spending and am bringing €750 to cover 5 days for myself and DS.
I think it would be easy to save a few quid by getting bits from the shop in the station for lunch and by going for McDonalds a couple of nights, especially if you've had a bigger lunch.

For the five of us we generally allow E90-E110 for a table service meal and E40 for a counter service meal. Seeing as there are only four of you and your children are so young I would think that E30 would be plenty for a counter service meal and E65-E80 would be enough for a table service meal.

We always take drinks with us because they are very expensive in the park and we always seem to be too full for snacks between meals.

Our children normally get about E50 each to spend on whatever they want (typically a soft toy E15-25, a small toy E15ish and an ornament E10-15). My husband and I normally buy a new mug each (about E10 each) and we often buy a few new christmas decorations (E8-10 each) and the girls get to choose a pin each (E6ish each).

I normally work out where we want to eat to work out a rough budget for food and then add to that the expected spending on souvenirs above. Then I allow an extra 100-200E for anything unexpected but often we come home with the extra or use it at the end of the holiday for extra treats.

We are 2 adults & 2 children and I am bringing 600 euros for 4 nights/5 days. We arrive at tea time on our 1st day and leave at luchtime on our last day. That 600 includes our transfers (140 return) 1 small toy each for DS (3) and DD (7). Its as cheap or expensive as you make it. In the past we've spent more but every subsequent trip has got cheaper. I also have my shareholders card which saves us a little bit as well.
