Planning my trip to WDW and US. Originally was going to go to US for 2 days but had to cut back to one day. Which day would you recommend? Monday, June 6th or Tuesday, June 7th? I was thinking that Tuesday might not be as crowded as some people might go Monday for long weekend?? I need to buy my tickets and transportation in advance. Thanks for your advice.

I do believe that most people around here recommend staying away on Mondays (not sure excatly the reason but they know far more than I do!) The express pass pricing chart shows both says at a cost of $31.99 so that isn't much of a help in determining which day would be better.

We will be there at the same time and will be doing US on Tuesday and IOA on Wednesday.

A lot of people say to stay away on Monday, but I am never sure why. Personally, I think Monday would be a better choice for this time period. A lot of schools will have just gotten out and I think a lot of people will start their vactions on Monday so they will be flying down that day.

Also, keep in mind that either day you choose, the Studios will close at 7pm and IOA will close at 8pm. If you are planning on seeing BOTH parks in ONE day, you may want to purchase the express pass or get there the moment the parks open. Since it sounds like you will not be staying onsite, you will not have the extra hour in the morning to do Harry Potter. My suggestion would be to do Studios first thing in the morning and then head to IOA for the evening since it is open later. Plus, in the evening you can get into the Harry Potter area without waiting. Have a fun trip!

I think once school ends and families start their summer vacations, all days will be busy so it won't really matter. Weekdays should be lighter than weekends but by how much? We will have to wait and see.
