Monday morning waffles?

So it's DD 14th and she wants waffles...we are doing Disneyland that morning bec of the no early entry. I HATE to waste time eating but it's her actual bday that day. Where should we go? I don't know who has breakfast in the parks? I'm always making a mad dash for Fantasyland!!!
Also, can u still stop at city hall for the bday pin?

I think the only non-character meal that has them in the parks is Carnation. The menus are on Disney's site and this site, so you can double check. Do 't bother with City Hall if you're going to a restaurant, they'll have a button at the restaurant.

Do you have to eat breakfast first? You could run to Fantasyland then after go over to DCA. Flo's has waffles on the kids menu. Otherwise, Carnation is the only place to get them unless you do the plaza character breakfast.

Does the park open at 8 or 9 that day? I say start in Fantasyland and have a late breakfast at Carnation Cafe. I think you can get breakfast reservations until around 11 am. They do have a Mickey-shaped waffle there. I like some of their other breakfast food too.

The Tangoroa Terrace at the DLH has Mickey Waffles. We got those everyday before heading into the parks. If you had time to eat breakfast before the parks that day it's a good spot.

Orrrrrr... get up extra early and go to Denny's or Coco's or Mimi's, if any of them have waffles. Or IHOP I suppose.

This year I am going to make waffles right in the room. I bought a Mickey waffle iron and I have been practicing using those pre-measured pancake mixes in the little jugs. Spray the iron down well with pam and add just a little extra water. Its quick easy and cheap. ( I also made Mickey chocolate chip cookies in the iron with the pre-made dough from the grocery store. I think I'll try grilled cheese Mickey style next.)

Not sure where you are staying and if this would be convenient for you, but I noticed White Water Snacks at the Grand Californian has Mickey waffles on their menu. I'm planning to check them out next time myself.

On our trip, we got Mickey waffles at White Water Snacks at the GCH.

A few weeks ago my mom and I had the Mickey waffles at Carnation Café. They are sooo yummy! Get them with the strawberries...super yum! They come with bacon or sausage too. Both are really good.
We did this on a Sunday and it was perfect...got there for rope drop at 8am (ate bananas on our walk over so we didn't have empty tummies), did Fantasyland rides with pretty much no wait and even visited Pixie Hollow. Then we had breakfast at 9:30. It worked out great! I suggest making a reservation so you are not waiting.

You can also get them through White Water snacks, in the Grand. This little eatery often opens up prior to park opening (by the by their burgers and nachos are outstanding!) Would Plaza Inn have the Mickey Waffles? Maybe you can make reservation and get in the park earlier than everyone and have a quick breakfast.

You can get the b-day pin anytime, so if you're there prior to the b-day Monday, get a pin beforehand and enter the park with the pin.
