Is the Monday before Thanksgiving typically a crowded day? Our school district is out all week, but I'm hoping most others are only out Thursday and Friday making for a less crowded day. Any advice or opinions?

Most school districts now seem to be taking the whole week of Thanksgiving off. I know many of my friend's kids, who live all over CA, have the whole week off and quite a few are heading to DLR! It will be crowded.

We are going the day AFTER Thanksgiving thru Monday, hoping to avoid a bit of the early week crowds, but still expecting it to be packed.

I'll be there the entire Thanksgiving week.

Not locked down yet but will probably go on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Just from reading around it sounds like historically that Thanksgiving day is fairly manageable

Oh and APs are block on Thursday and Friday Thanksgiving week so it might be more crowded Mon-Wed

My granddaughter and I have APs and we're in northern California - our APs are not blocked. She's off school the entire week of Thanksgiving so we're expecting crowds, but we're going to arrive this Thursday so we'll have plenty of time for everything because we're staying until the 26th. :) We're so excited! :rotfl:

Premium AP's are not blocked. I think lower ones are though. We've used our Premium AP's on Thanksgiving Thu & Fri in 2012 & 2013 without a problem.

Lower end passes (So Cal, So Cal Deluxe, and Deluxe) are not blocked out M-W. Good luck. It will be crowded since most districts in So Cal are out that week.

My kids are only out Wed - Fri next week but I think out district is one of the few that has them attend Mon & Tues anymore.

But I have heard that Mon - Wed are usually busier than Thurs - Sat that week because the kids are out and all the passes are valid. Once you get to Thursday, all but the premium passes are blocked so that cuts down on a majority of the AP visitors.
