I'm hoping the crowds are lighter than the week OF Thanksgiving. We do a trip every 2 years. Unfortunately, it's "tradition" to do Knotts ON T-Giving, but I'm thinking about switching it up and arriving that AM and doing Disney Friday/Sat and Monday/Tuesday the following week.

Any insight? We went Mon-Wed last year before T-Giving and it was horrific.

The week after Thanksgiving week (meaning the week beginning Monday, 11/28) is supposed to be a delightful week in terms of crowds. There's been lots of discussion about that post-Thanksgiving week on the DIS and in the Christmas Superthread, and, in fact, a bunch of us are choosing to go in that very week because it has a reputation for having one of the lowest crowd points of the holiday season, while still getting the full array of holiday decor and entertainment. It's in between holiday breaks, so lots of people have gone back to work and school before Christmas. I think I've counted at least 8 different DIS'ers (that I am aware of), including myself, who are going in that exact time frame, somewhere between 11/28 and 12/5.

Be sure to join us in the Disneyland at Christmas time Superthread!
