I have planned (our 2nd) girl's trip for May for 3 at POR with the sleeper bed with the Sun & Fun discount. One of us invited another friend last night and she wants to go. I am concerned the one bathroom will be an issue. I need to keep it around the same price. A family suite at AoA is available at the discounted rate. No availability at the values for those dates.
Has anyone had 4 ladies in the POR room? How crowded was it? And has anyone had 4 ladies at AoA? Will we feel out of place without the kids/grandkids? (Our Disney trip is to celebrate retirement). 😂

Personally, I can barely share one bathroom with one other person, let alone 3 at this point in my life. I know you're trying to keep the budget, which is understandable. With that thought, I'd look into alternative lodging off site.

If there is no availability to get two rooms at a value, I would probably pick the AoA suite over POR, though I really enjoy POR more as a resort, particularly with adults. You would, however, get two bathrooms, a third, bigger bed and the Skyliner which is a big plus, IMHO. I think the one bathroom will be an issue, plus putting an adult on that sleeper bed will not be comfortable at POR, IMHO. I agree with kirstenb1 regarding the suggestion of looking for something offsite. Even a DS hotel or Wyndham Bonnet Creek might be a good alternative. You will get a bigger bang for your buck and could, perhaps, consider uber/lyfting where you need to go onsite.

I just stayed in one of the Cars suites. I wouldn't want it with 4 adults. Someone would have to share a bed. Yes, the 2 bathrooms is nice, but it was 1 queen bed in the bedroom, a pull out sofa bed, and the pull down table bed. Maybe I missed a sleeping surface but I don't think so.

Definitely separate rooms.....otherwise you are setting yourself up to possibly no longer be friends by the end of the trip ;)
Seriously, its your own personal preference of how close for comfort you can tolerate. I personally would not find it relaxing.

Even a compromise of 2 per room would be better.

What is your budget? The All Stars seem to be the cheapest & they are fine places to lay your head.

Have you considered the Swan or the Dolphin byMarriott? They used to have teacher discounts. Is anybody teacher? Not sure about AAA discount.
I know one of these have 2 queen beds and the other is just the standard double/ full. But queen would be an improvement plus their beds are comfortable. I think they might have a roll away based on availabilty.
I think more information about discounts can be found on mousesavers.com
I guess the Swan has the queen heavenly beds and the bathroom has double sink, whereas the Dolphin only has one sink.

Lol, I'm remembering going to my best friend's bachelorette shindig in NYC many MANY years ago and six of us girls crammed into a tiny cheap little hotel (against hotel capacity rules... shh, we were poor students on a budget), trying to get gussied up for our night on the town in the one little bathroom. We shared hair dryers and make up and slept three to a bed and it was a blast. Going in with a chill attitude with friends makes everything fun!

I personally would prefer a cramped mod over a value, but you have to figure out what matters most to you--space or resort type. Resorts are a big part of the vacation experience for me (food, scenery, pools) so I'd vote for POR, but that's just me.

This is offered with Sun & Fun for around$600/nite. Yes, it is expensive. But you will get 2 toilets :D And 2 separate sleeping areas. And Club Level access to Chronos Lounge for food and adult beverages which should offset a decent amount from your budget. It's a really gorgeous new addition to WDW. Definitely worth considering if the 4 of you can each swing $160/nite. You do get a lot for your money here.

If nothing else and you'd like #4 to bow out, maybe show this as the new acceptable option. Lol :D

I did 4 women in a POR room in 2017 and it was great -- we had plenty of room.

I appreciate all the responses. Here is a little more information.
We will be flying and staying on property, they aren't willing to go off property. Three of us stayed at CSR last year and we didn't have any problems. Two of us don't mind sharing a bed, one is tiny so she doesn't mind a roll away or fold out couch. I stayed at POP this summer and thought the pull down bed was very comfortable. Is the pull down not good in the suites? We were trying to keep it around $1500 each for room, tickets and dining plan. I would love to do 2 values but nothing is available. I guess I will keep trying.

We have had four women in POR and CBR with no issues. If you are comfortable sharing beds, that’s the biggest hurdle. Queen size beds help a lot there. You can make a morning shower schedule work... we fell into a rhythm of who went first each morning based on who took the longest to get fully ready. One brought a makeup mirror so she did her hair and makeup at the table while others used the sink area. We each took a couple of drawers for our clothes and then threw our dirty stuff in our luggage so the room stayed nice and neat. Honestly, if you’re not planning on being in the room a lot, the money you’d spend on an extra room can go towards tickets, dinners, special events, etc.

Have fun!

Personally, I would stay at a mod over a value simply because the room has two sinks, which is badly needed with four women trying to get ready each morning.

I've crammed 4 adults into Pop (longer ago than I'd like to admit), it was doable for the week we were there. But I'm not sure I'd want to relive that experience all these years later.

If everyone is courteous of each other I could see it working. And maybe some prefer a shower in the morning and some prefer one at night. And you didn’t say how long the trip was, if it’s for a shorter time period all the Better. I would think it would be great fun and a lot of laughs being all together.
