I had posted a while back some guilt over taking DS (who will be 12) to Disney next year without DH. The decision was made for several reasons, the major one being that he probably cannot take time off work. The least important factor in the decision is money. Anyhow, DH is strongly encouraging me to shake the guilt and get into planning the trip of a lifetime for DS and I.
So I changed the reservation to just the two of us and booked our airfare. With DH's encouragement I am now really looking forward to the trip and definitely doing the happy dance about the opportunity I will have for quality one on one time with DS.
DH has even said that he is somewhat relieved to have a year off from Disney!
Who knew that he felt that way?
So let the countdown begin! 236 days til our POP adventure!
