Mom passed away this morning...

I never thought so many things would change so fast. We got a call at 1:50 AM that Mom's condition was deteriorating. Mom passed away by 2:30. We miss her so. I know she's in a better place now but I'm selfish and I wasn't ready to give her up.

Cassidy wants her Nana back and we want our Mommy back. It's so hard. Dad was still in the hospital so we had to go tell him this morning. He's at home now. He was insistant that he get out today.

Talk about irony though. Today is Dec 10th. Grandma never put up a Christmas tree because on Dec 10th she was decorating her Christmas tree with our Uncle when she was notified that Dad had been shot and wounded in the war. That's the first thing that he thought of when we told him about Mom. So many years ago he was shot on Dec 10th and now his wife died on Dec 10th. We now pray for strength to help Daddy get through this. :grouphug:

I'm so sorry. We recently lost someone so close to us around Thanksgiving.
The hurt is deep. :sad1:

My father lost his mother on December 24 some years back, so I know how hard this is at this time of year. I wish the best for your family.
